Policy Guidance Pack
BAND has developed a comprehensive "Policy Guidance Pack" of sample policies, procedures, forms and guidance for group childcare providers on non-domestic premises. The sample documents meet the Welfare Requirements of the EYFS and cover just about every eventuality that may occur when running a childcare setting. The documents are reviewed and revised on a rolling, monthly basis and particularly when there are changes to legislation or requirements and also in response to topical issues.
The documents have been designed as samples; the intention is that childcare providers should read the documents carefully and amend as necessary to suit their own setting's needs. Settings will not need the full set of documents. Our Development and Support team offer guidance around identifying which documents may be needed and support with revising the documents. This support is offered to any setting within the City of Bristol area wishing to use this resource. Space doesn't permit listing the full Policy Guidance Pack here, but the following headings give a flavour of the contents:- CHILD PROTECTION includes information on child protection, safeguarding, whistle blowing, use of cameras, videos, mobile phones and e-safety.
