Date and Time: September - course full.
Venue: BAND Office, The Proving House, Sevier Street, St Werburghs, Bristol, BS2 9LB.
This is a certificated Basic Food Hygiene course. The content will include:
- Personal hygiene
- Prevention of contamination
- Food poisoning awareness
- Time / temperature control of food
- Current food legislation.
Participants will be encouraged to discuss issues relating to food handling in their setting.
Tutor: Ken Rock of Domino Risk Management. Ken has many years experience both as a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner and consultant advising on food supply operations and inspecting kitchens in every kind of setting - from a tent to and air craft carrier.
Cost: Free to all Bristol-based childcare workers, however a £10 deposit per person (refundable on the day) is required to secure a place; £20 to all others.
Bookings: On Booking Forms only. Separate cheques for each attendee payable to 'BAND Ltd' please. Places are limited to 15 - 2 per setting - so book early!
