Playworkers Looking for Work

BAND holds a list of playworkers looking for work. If you would like to receive a copy of this, or add your name to the list, please contact the office. BAND strongly recommends that all staff should be interviewed and at least two written references taken up, one of which should be from their most recent employer. Evidence of qualifications and proof of identity should also be provided with enhanced CRB disclosures undertaken before they are appointed. Registered childcare settings must run checks on all staff through Ofsted (Helpline: 0845 601 4771).

Redland Pre-School are looking to recruit a Part Time Administrator for circa 10 hours a week, term time only. Duties include: Management of Nursery Education Grant, invoicing and cash collection. Administration of payroll. Preparation of management accounts and forecasts. Grant administration. Support Early Years Practitioner in the management of the pre-school. Preparation of termly reports for the Committee. Other general administrative duties. Previous experience is desirable but not essential. SPAN (Single Parent Action Network) are looking for a Administrative Assistant (Temporary). NJC Scale 19, £17,802 pro rata, 21 hours per week. SPAN are looking for a well motivated administrative assistant to carry out general administration for ESOL and Childcare courses at SPAN Study Centre and in other community venues. In this role you will be responsible for welcoming learners, helping them to enrol and inputting enrolment data into the database. You will also assist the ESOL Coordinator and Childcare Development Workers in planning and developing publicity for courses. An ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual environment is essential to this post. This is a temporary post from the end of March until 31st July 2010. Clifton College Holiday Club & Activity Courses are seeking Holiday Club Assistants, from £6 - £7 per hour dependent on experience, up to 40 hours per week during the school holidays. Clifton College Holiday Club and Activity Courses operate during each school holiday and require Holiday Club Assistants to work within Minis(3-4 years), Juniors (5-7 years) and Kids' Club (8-13 years).
