Date and Time: Thursday 30th September & Friday 1st October, 9.30am - 2.30pm

Venue: BAND Office, The Proving House, Sevier Street, St Werburghs, Bristol, BS2 9LB.

This course aims to increase participant's understanding of the importance of sexual identity in all our lives. It will explore and challenge the myths and stereotypes associated with being lesbian or gay. It will enable playworkers to work more effectively with children and young people around issues of sexuality. NB. All participants must attend both days to gain a certificate of attendance.

Tutor: Mo Hand. Mo has a Youth and Community background and considerable experience of delivering equality and diversity training using an action-orientated approach.

Cost: Free to all Bristol-based childcare workers, however a £10 deposit per person (refundable on the day) is required to secure a place; £80 to all others.

Funded by: Bristol Early Years and Childcare Service.
