Promoting Self-Esteem in Children

This course offers an introduction to assertiveness, criticism and compliments, respect and rights. It will help develop skills to support children in giving and receiving criticism without putting each other down, promoting praise-giving and also raising self-esteem.

Tutor: Doreen Baidoo. Doreen has over twenty years experience as a freelance consultant and trainer, working with children, young people and adults in various settings. covering a range of subjects.

Cost: Free to all Bristol-based childcare workers, however a £10 deposit per person (refundable on the day) is required to secure a place; £50 to all others.
