Content: The 'Funding Your Way' booklet has been compiled to give fundraising advice and support to amateur fundraisers. It covers various fundraising themes from understanding how funders work to how to write a grant application and running your own events. It includes sections on: local authority funding, trusts and foundations, to the Big Lottery and local community foundations - there are around 17 local corporate funders and trusts listed in the book combined with a selection of funders who would be happy to support local childcare groups. The booklet is designed to help childcare groups and youth organisations access various funding streams and to explore fundraising ideas.
