BAND Senior Playworker Course

This course is aimed at Senior/Deputy or experienced Playworkers currently working with children aged 5-15 years. The course aims to develop their skills and knowedge of working effectively and supportively in a play setting at a senior worker level.
Participants should have completed a Level 2 Playwork Course, have at least 2 years experience and currently be working within a play setting. Places will only be given to Playworkers who meet these criteria.
The BAND Senior Playworker Course is a Level 3 training course with assignments. It is certified by BAND and has been endorsed by Skills Active, the Sector Skills Council for Playwork. It provides underpinning knowledge for the NVQ Level 3 in Playwork.
Completion of the course is based on 80% attendance of taught sessions, completion of all assignments and portfolio building. Learning support can be arranged if required - please contact the Training Department in confidence.

Cost: Free to all Bristol-based childcare workers, however a £10 deposit per person (refundable on the day) is required to secure a place; £195 to all others. Separate cheques payable to 'BAND Ltd' please.
